Reaching out to the comments section
Posted by Ingrid Koehler on October 6, 2008
Dave Briggs is having an interesting consultation session in the comments section of a blog post. The Communities in Control white paper had a mention of digital mentors for empowering folks online. But what does that mean, exactly? That’s what Dave asked here.
Well, as usual, what it really means was up for discussion. Part of the Whitehall team looking at this encouraged folks to have that conversation right there in the comments section. And over the weekend, several folks who do know what they’re talking about have contributed. Online empowerment starts offline seems to be the early concensus.
I think you can start from both ends and meet at the middle.
