Sorry about the title – it’s as compact and comprehensive as I can make it…!
Having recently undertaken this piece of work internally, I thought I’d share it with the outside world in case it is of use elsewhere. It provides an overview of recent national developments regarding governance as it relates to local government and provides hyperlinks to further information on:
- governance of the private sector, quangos, partnerships and the third sector
- ethical governance
- other public sector and local government governance developments (including CIPFA and SOLACE’s joint framework and the Good Governance Standard for Public Services developed by OPM, CIPFA and JRF).
